If you could go back about ten years and knew what the future held, would you?

I don't know if I would.  Some of the things that happened were not under anyone's control.  But, I may have been able to do change the path of the incidents.  Who knows?  There are no do-overs in life.

I'm a perosn who thinks everyone happens in sequence for a reason and if you take away one thing out of the sequence it totally changes everything and it may not be for the better.  .

Ten years, definitely.

Yes, I would go  back ten years...and change the path I took...then I would not have suffered the mental pain I went through...

Oh, most definitely.  I would not have bought the bike and would not have needed my shoulder replacement.  🙀

Id have to go back to the 70s to change any paths. lol. 10 years isnt long enough. And yes Id love to go back, but to the 60s!

Robert Frost knew what he was saying when he wrote about taking a path and never being able to go back to "go,"  but if somehow the universe changed and we got that chance, I really fear we'd still make choices that 10 years later would have us wondering "What was I thinking!"

It's an interesting question, and I see your point, srtaykatz, but maybe things could turn out better. It's impossible to know.

I think I would go back ten years if I could. Life is full of good and bad all the way through but the two most devastating things in my life, so far, happened prior to ten years ago. The third happened three years ago, and while it was less difficult than the two others, it was very hard on me. It still is. It's not as permanent as the others, but it's a part of my daily life. I could have handled it better, in fact, I'm still not handling it perfectly.

I'd be happy to go back a few days to fix a major faux pas in that area of my life!

The second reason I'd do it is regarding longevity. We all know if we eat our veggies we'll add years to our lives (hopefully) but what good is it if those years come when we're too old to appreciate them? Going back ten years may not mean we're going to live longer, but if we get to live them over again, I'm all for it.

You have life lessons- and  personal growth-  from the 'not so good'. So I wouldn't change a thing!

No.  I'm afraid I'd make things worse if I knew then what I know now.  Prefer to move ahead and learn my lessons.  I'm hard headed like that. Smiley Happy
