@sunshine45

No, but I bet @susiQ_2 and I would eat them if you mailed us some!

They look quite amazing.

Actually, on second thought, I may go to St. Helena one day this season, so maybe I'll mail some to you!

Re: speaking of english muffins.....

Ooh, those are lovely!!

I haven't had an English Muffin in eons.

I remember one treat for us when I was a kid  (keep in mind we didn't get many treats!) was to open an English muffin and make up some tuna and put some of that on each open side.  Then a slice of that non-cheese cheese atop that.  Then in the oven.

I don't know if I'd like that now, but I liked it at the time.  Smiley Happy

That bakery might be a fun destination for local posters to meet.  If posters wanted to do that, of course.

Yum! The shop was so cute too. The sugar cookies shaped like leaves are perfect for fall and those ovens were really something.

English Muffins made them famous--"made by hand and griddled on the stovetop in clarified butter."

Maybe I'm in heaven 'cause you're killing me!  Stop! No don't stop!

I guess I'd better watch what I say since sub sanwhiches were apparently too scandalous to discuss. Smiley Wink

@tansy

Lol, actually the thread was quite tame and I'd post what may have been the reason but I don't want to risk losing Sunshine's thread. I'll take a slight chance and just say one reason may have had to do with a comment about things getting smaller...like when wool gets puts in a dryer by mistake.

Since the moderators seem to be faint of heart today I'll leave it at that!

I would make a tuna melt with them or eggs benedict.
