A game played at one of the showers I attended involved passing around a ball of string and a pair of scissors. Each guest was asked to cut off a length of string that they thought was the measurement of the honoree's waist size. Her waist was then measured. Guest whose string measured closest to actual waist size was winner.
The game was fun, but if there are a lot of guests, measuring all those strings would take some time.

This is not really a game, but what about putting the names of all the guest into a basket and towards the end of the shower, draw a name and that person wins the prize. You mentioned you already have the prizes, so that would be easy enough. No one really has to participate as it is not a game, but it's always fun to win and go home with a prize. Have fun!!!

There's one I know of that's a hoot. Hand out blank sheets of paper and have everyone write down the name of the chore they hate and the reason why. Collect the papers, mix them up and then hand them back out. Have each person read the "reason" but instead change the question to "I hate making whoopee because...." (and then they read the reason). It is always hilarious and people just laugh like crazy. You'll get responses like "I hate making whoopee because my arm gets tired, or the floor just gets dirty again, etc...

That being said, I hosted a wedding shower last spring and the bride-to-be was insistent on playing games. We tried to talk her out of it but she wouldn't hear of it. My only advice is, if you do play, make sure you have enough prizes.
Some women get very angry if they leave without a prize! LOL
Really ? Every shower I've ever attended the prize winners always gave them to the honoree.
Why would the guest of honor want those all those prizes? Many times they are the same items. I'm confused.

The only game I remember was...each person was given a clothes pin, if you see anyone cross their legs or ankles at the shower you take their clothes pin or pins. At the end, whoever has the most wins.

The last few baby showers I attended men were present and no games (thankfully) were played.

...now I remember why I never go to baby showers. Unless it's a relative or close friend, then I do a drive-by. Drive to the shower, drop off my gift, kiss the mom to be and say bye! I can't help it, I wasn't born with the silly gene.
