@rockygems123

A couple of years ago I hired a 'weatherization' company to help determine where I needed to improve my energy losses. I upgraded my windows, doors and put more insulation in my attic plus that company sealed some leaky air spots around my roof and inside my garage. They also put more insulation in some of my exterior walls. the entire process took a while b/c it was expensive to say the least. But with climate change upon us, I needed to make sure I was ready for the extreme conditions which have already been happening. I feel better that I did what I did to make my house more weatherized.

That sounds very thorough, love that idea and you sound very happy with the results.  Sounds like a great direction, I may look into that in our area.

Love that your house won't  be too hot or cold, sounds comfortable.

Right now, here near Seattle, it is 19* outside--it's 1 :45 pm. Tonight they say it will be 9* !!! But no snow and amazingly, no ice anywhere. City road crew has done a  great job pre- treating the roads. Tomorrow with be the same and then starting to warm up by Monday. Get ready--all this is coming your way!!

Supposed to be 11 tomorrow night, time to drizzle the faucets and open the bathroom cabinets. Highs will be in the thirties the next couple of days...glad I went to the grocery store two days ago...people panic and empty the shelves when they hear ice and snow my be coming.
