It's one thing to have a wife commit a crime with her husband, another would be finding a weapon or contraband that was used in said crime and did nothing.  BUT quite another to be an innocent spouse who has absolutely nothing at all to do with the case but be shamed because of who she happens to be married to!

ITA .... but since Camille was also involved throughout his career as his Business Manager, all it would have taken was for one little lawsuit to cross her desk and alarm bells should start ringing like crazy.    

Also .....  She was pretty insistent at some hearing recently that she did not want to be forced to testify, so I hope we find out what that was about!

You cannot make assumptions about how another person would react.  No, alarm bells would not have gone off if she was in denial, that's what denial is.

@Tinkrbl44 The Cosbys have been married for over fifty years, I don't know them and I suspect the QVC posters don't either. He is a very wealthy man and she has been his partner in business as well. I don't judge her for being evasive or not wanting to testily during the deposition. I find her a bit cold but then who wouldn't be under the circumstances. No woman wants to air out their dirty laundry in the spotlight, it's quite humiliating. Because of this big mess, I'm sure Camille Cosby has to protect herself and everything else that she has built up in the last fifty plus years. 

I'm not just defending Camille Cosby but any other wife who gets thrown to the lions because their husbands have been accused, arrested and incarcerated and they had nothing to do with the crimes.

That's almost a year away.  Anything can happen but even if there is a trial; I truly believe he'll be found not guilty or there will be a hung jury.  Like it or not, there is no proof of any type that he did anything to anyone.  I don't see 12 people on a jury convicting him on allegations from 40 or 50 years ago.  Even that last case that he settled out of court is not a slam dunk because the victim back tracked on her settlement and puts her crediblility into question.  She took the money and kept silent for 10 years and then came out when the publicity began.  Why?  Looking for more money than she took 10 years ago?  The jury is not going to be made up solely of older women.  Men and younger people won't view this the way that 65 year old women do.

Camille may be married to Bill for 50 years, but with all her money, she may very well be leading her own life.  They may have an arrangement to stay married, but only on paper.  In my opinion, BC is a serial rapist. I'm not saying he will be convicted though

        .   She's an 80 year old wife who has been married to that man for over 50 years.  They have had a wonderful life, a family and he has made millions of dollars.  That's the husband she loves and supports and will always support.  She can't believe accusations from complete strangers who came out of now where 40 plus years after the alleged events.  Most people don't believe all those stories but we believe "something happened sometime".  Camille believes the stories are lies or that whatever happened was consensual and so log ago that none of it doesn't matter.

I think that's a possibility, too.  I wonder about the law that a wife can't be forced to testify against her husband.  Has that changed?
