I wonder who BC's lawyers are.

I hope the prosecution doesn't bungle the case.

The prosecution can only do so much with what they have. They can't go above the law, or break the law, just because people want to to see Cosby's butt behind bars.

Even if they put on the very best case possible, that is still no guarantee that they will win.

I am guessing that Cosby wil settle out of court, for an undisclosed sum of money, and thus never, ever set foot inside of a jail.

Don't forget that in this country you're supposed to go into court with the presumption of innocence until you're proven guilty.

Not expressing my opinion on this case just stating a fact!

Nobody is saying the prosecution will do anything illegally to get a conviction.

But I know how these boards go.

When the public is 100% convinced that someone is guilty, and the court of law does not find them guilty, the prosecution/judge/jury is blamed.

When in fact, the prosecution/judge/jury may have done the very best that they could, with the facts given, and still have found the defendant not guilty.

That's not quite it.  The court, the law and the jurors have a presumption of innocence.  WE are free to think whatever we want, and to say what we think.

Blaming the prosecution is one thing.

Saying the prosecution will do something illegal is another.

just for the sake of discussion, if cosby was found criminally guilty, couldn't he also be sued civilly by the same woman for damages?

I think, yes.

If I remember correctly, Michael Jackson's doctor was found criminally guilty, and he was also sue civilly.

Ron Goldman's son is dead, and no amount of money will bring him back.

OJ Simpson is in jail now. He's been deprived of his freedom and liberty. He's no longer in charge of his own destiny. And he's been shown up for the thug that he really is.

I thought that was the point.
