Yvonne Craig who played Commission Gordon's niece who was secretly BATGIRL in the 1960's t.v. show, Batman, died a couple of days ago.

I know time marches on but she was nearly 80!

Now she is sure to be crime fighting from Heaven.

My husband apparently watched this as a kid because he informed me of this earlier today.  I'm sure the expression on my face was priceless.  

Sorry she passed away but didn't know who she was...I never watched.

 LOL I was thinking, Alicia Silverstone can't be dead? I don't even remember batgirl from the tv series, it was before my time although I did see some reruns of the show.

I loved watching Batgirl on the Batman series. Such a pretty woman and an early example of girl power.

Sorry to hear.  She was 78 and passed awau from breat cancer.   

Notice the pointed bust - used foam stuffed tips to fill out the area.  Many starlettes wore them in the past.
