Did you ride the roller coaster, and/or what was your favorite ride?

No roller coaster for me.  Tilt-a-whirl was my favorite ride.  The one you set it and go up and down and twirl around.

Don't care/or didn't for those upside down rides.

Never was a roller coaster fan, but I LOVED the Tilt-A-Whirl.  Haven't been on one in probably 20 years and I fear if I tried it now, it would end very badly!  But just try to keep me off of the Merry Go Round!

Growing up, Zingo was my favorite roller coaster.

The Tulsa fair was built around Bell's amusement Park including Zingo.  But now Zingo has been gone many years.

When my kids got older, we discovered Cedar Point in Ohio and to us was roller coaster heaven.

Fast forward to the present, even Zingo would be too much for me.

I used to love the Scrambler! Anybody remember the Scrambler? I'd love to tide it today....before I get started with my workday today. Smiley Happy

Growing up, my local 4-H fair was fairly small but I always loved riding the Zipper.  We didn't have roller coasters at our fair except for maybe in the kiddie ride section. As I got into high school, I rarely rode the rides because I was unsure of their safety procedures.

At an amusement park, Roller Coasters were definitely my thing.  I prefer the older ones that curved and went up and down hills where you would raise your hands the whole way.  I never care for the newer ones where you're boxed in and swing upside down and in all different directions.  To me those weren't fun or scary as I had no perception of what was actuallyhappening through all those spirals, spins and going upside down, etc.

I loved the double ferris wheel at the Iowa State Fair. Can't stand any upside down or backward rides. But when the ferris wheel would pause while my car was positioned at the top I could see for miles, and all the people down below looked so small. A delicious breeze on a hot August day, too.

As a kid I loved the Scrambler and Tilt-a-Whirl too! I don't think I could handle many rides these days, but I do love the Giant Slide! It's a bit more tame!

I loved it all but I will also fight for the Merry Go Round.

How many people watched the Tilt a Whirl for a few rounds to spot the good one before they got in line? Smiley Very Happy

I'm strictly a Merry Go Round girl too, but the horses must go up and down.  I don't like to be jostled or lifted to heights.
