I find Ashley very unlikable. She seems to be a very poor sport. I admire anyone who can ice skate but her program was not as technical as the others.

Yuna was excellent.

Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir did an excellent job last night on the NBC late Olympic show of explaining why Sotnikova won and they both said she was indeed the winner. She had a technically more difficult program with the potential for a higher score and she executed it very near perfectly except for one flat footed landing. Also she had more difficult steps in the second half of her program. Those would earn her extra points because the judging is that you are more tired then so doing them in the second half of your program takes more skill.
Tara said Yuna did all her difficult elements in the first half of her program to give herself an easier program. That made her program worth less points but Tara also said she understands why viewers may see the performances differently. She said Yuna is more artistic but she stressed that this is the Olympics and this is an athletic event and she said that Sotnikova was the better athlete in the competition.
ETA: Ashley Wagner reminds me of Tonya Harding in both her looks and her choice of costumes (very glitzy and garish colored).
