There should be no reason why a state would allow people to own these snakes in the US .

@skatting44 , I totally agree! I'm not one to agree much with taking away our freedoms but I can see no reason exotic animals should be allowed. Look what's going on in the Everglades! People are too irresponsible to have these kinds of animals, they just let them go or flush them when the new has worn off.

It is not like we don't have enough snakes without adding something like that to the crowd. One of my neighbors was bitten by 2 different copperheads and killed both of them. He called a snake removal company and they found 51 copperheads on his property. We have a lot of ivy in our neighborhood.
