Re: Are Andrew Lessman's multivitamins overpirced?

He is the only one I trust  I buy many of his vitamins  I know they are more than CVS buy one get one but I feel good about hearing his explanation for why we need them  Sometimes I buy Biotin and tumeric at cVS but protein calcium multi and nighttime  I never go anywhere else   I  am an older lady with an eating disorder that is sometimes under control but I need to know and trust my vitamins

Re: Are Andrew Lessman's multivitamins overpirced?

I take several of his vitamins, not the multivitamins but Ultimate Eye Support, Vit B12 500, Calcium intensive care, Friendly Flora and Coenzyme Q-10 200 mg.  I don't take all of them every day, it usually works out to two to three time a week.   I stagger my purchases because seeing the price of an order can send me into sticker shock. But I think they are worth what he charges.

His supplements are worth every cent they cost .  I  started buying Andrew Lessman products when he sold here .

When he went to HSN  , I went over to HSN to buy .  I really had never ordered anything from HSN   before Andrew  went there .

It was years before I ordered again from QVC  , I think it was when WEN showed up here .

Andrew Lessman products are  pricey  but I feel like my health  is one of the most important things I have .

I know I am healthier than most folks my age ( and folks that are much much younger also)  because of Andrew Lessman supplements .

I order his supplements from HSN  but also order directly from his company

Check his ingredients and their potency with other sites like Puritans Pride, Swanson and Vitacost. he often short changes in his potencies. for example, I take 40 mg of Lutein for eye health in one softgel, he only gives you a fraction of that in his.

Slick used car salesman?  Andrew Lessman?!?!  Wow, I know the person who made that comment is known for making slams on lots of people, but that is completely opposite of the way I see Andrew Lessman.  He's very laid back and very informative.  I do not see him as pushy in any way.  I agree with the person who said she's rarely sick.  I'm in the same category and I feel like his vitamins have helped immensely.

Re: Are Andrew Lessman's multivitamins overpirced?

We would never get into the whole world of supplementation driven by those who sell.

We take a regular old multivitamin for seniors every day. We take Trader Joes' Calcium Citrate. We take Vit D now recommended by our primary physician (just buy generic), and we take generic magnesium (I can't remember why; I think it's to go with the calcium). And we eat has healthfully as we can.

No interest in padding people's pockets who either outright or subtly fear-monger. No interest in mega doses of stuff that likely will just come out in the wash, so to speak.

Re: Are Andrew Lessman's multivitamins overpirced?

I take three of the AL supplements: the Essential Daily, Omega Fatty Acids (fish oil) and Co-Enzyme Q 10.  I test other products that cost less but always go back to his.  For Calcium supplements, I do go with the Costco product.

I once tried the Hair Skin and Nails supplement that Costco sells, but it totally upset my stomach.  So do most Fish Oil supplements and once-daily vitamins.  So I am happy with Lessman.

I don't expect a miracle from a supplement, but I do expect a benefit, and they have worked so far for me, very well. I just get them online, having heard about them on this QVC list, as I don't typically watch HSN, or (these days) QVC so much.  I'm pretty much an internet shopper.

I am a long time customer of Andrew Lessman. We have been taking his vitamins for years.I have every confidence in his products. We also take the Omega 3,and I take the gluocosimine/condrotin,for my knee.I think the products are superior to other brands. The product that I will not do without is the friendly flora.I have had stomach issues for years, now I don't.They may cost more.but are worth every penny.Go on his website and read the reviews.I also take the COq10.

Those are 3 brands that I would never trust!  They are cheaply produced and there is no control over how (for example) that 40 mg of lutein is distribted throughout the batch!    AL controls and makes sure the amounts of ingredients are consistent plus he uses better and purer ingredients than the cheap stuff has so in the end - well need I say more?!!  Both Puritans Pride and Swanson have had issues with contaminents in the past.  That's fine and everyone's choice to buy cheap not knowing the purity of the ingredients but for me I'll take only the purest forms of supplements!
