Re: Anyone watching the BCS?

I had thrown in the towel and expected FSU to lose after Auburn scored with about 2 minutes left, changed the channel, missed the last touchdown, and my husband came running out of the bedroom and told me the noles were gonna win it!! I couldn't watch the game much because I thought FSU was not playing well and I was surprised that they pulled out the win at the end. What a great game, and now I can go back and watch it on tape without freaking out!! Many of the bowl games this year were very exciting and I am amazed at how well such young men play the game. Football is such a great game!!

FSU got lucky, Auburn played hard and deserved to win that game, it was very disheartening! We still beat AL and won the SEC Championship! WAR EAGLE ......... its great to be an Auburn Tiger!!!

Spoken like an Auburn Tiger. Had they deserved to win, they would have won! FSU didn't get lucky, they also played hard and played well.

I didn't care one way or the other who won, I'm a Notre Dame fan but ya gotta give FSU credit. I thought they were done.

I am sure you did not feel Auburn got lucky against Alabama, but .... Actually I am a Gators fan (born in Gainesville); but DS grew up in FL and always loved FSU, so, not a true Bammer, sorry!!! Go Gators and FSU.

Don't drag Bama into this. BTW, you sound like a butt hurt redneck when you say bammer.

Re: Anyone watching the BCS?

As an additional thought, the only team who deserves to win is the one who actually wins. There is no "entitlement" in the game.

Re: Anyone watching the BCS?

Actually the "talking heads" are saying the BCS bowl series was the BEST in YEARS. Several of the top bowls and including the BCS game on Monday night in Pasadena.

Congratulations to the winner. And Auburn should be very proud of their amazing turnaround from the 2012 season, they were in the lead for almost the entire game although they were 13 or 14 point underdogs.

79 seconds. Changed the outcome.

But when the final seconds tick off the game clock, the final score is what it is.

We'll have to seen how the NEW and maybe improved, maybe not improved, playoff arrangement goes next year. I think it will be harder for the student fans, the players, the cheerleaders and the band . . . with all the extra game(s) for the playoffs when they should be concentrating on final exams and then holidays with family and friends . . . not everyone lives down the road or across town from their college or university and of course there is the task of getting ready for Spring Semester. Next years Championship game will be on January 12, 2015 @ Jerry's World (aka Cowboy Stadium) in Arlington, TX. I'm sure many Spring Semesters start BEFORE that date.
