You are right, it was one of the most exciting game in years. It was somewhat a deja vu moment for Auburn as the last 60 seconds is why they won the game against Bama, but they won!

I have been a huge Auburn fan since 1966 when the guy I was dating took me to an Auburn football game!! I lived 35 miles from their campus for 30 years and my son went to Auburn for a short time. I have been through the team's ups and downs. I am so very proud of their season and the turnaround they made this year. They definitely played well for over 3 quarters. WAR EAGLE!!
Having said all that, I also congratulate FSU for their win and their undefeated season.

I really am very proud of them. Coming from just a 3-win season last year, they really improved! Happy New Year to all !!

Did anyone hear the remarks made by A.J.McCarron's mom after FSU won the game? What was that about??????? Weird.

I think it was a Tweet. She deleted it and apologized. And considering she isn't the Mom of either quarterback that was playing in the game . . . I think it needs to be ""let go"".
Perhaps she was still upset over the Iron Bowl loss and her son as a senior quarterback for University of Alabama not making his third BCS Championship game OR the Heisman Trophy. Either way it shouldn't reflect upon Auburn OR their fans OR the well played Championship game.

I never read what was said. I wonder if she was referring to Winston's terrible grammar, which I also noticed. I know he was very excited and might not have been able to get his thoughts together, but his grammar leaves a lot to be desired. How do kids get to college and not be able to put a sentence together? I would be embarrassed if I had been one of his teachers and didn't help him speak better. I hope he gets some coaching in that department before he goes into the NFL. I am a big Seminoles fan and would like for Winston to be successful both on and off the field. That is my soapbox for the day. Better emphasis on proper English and being able to spell and read well by the time one gets to the college level. Come on teachers and parents - step up.

I did not hear what McCarron's Mom said, but I can see where she would be upset about her son's team losing the Iron Bowl. They were well on their way to playing for a 3rd straight championship, and Auburn ruined that for them, so I am sure she is/was upset.
