Anyone else listen to podcasts?

My daughter recently got me into listening to podcasts.  I have mostly been listening to medical or crime.  My first podcast was called Dr. Death.  I like listening to them while I am doing housework.

I did a search and there were a couple of threads regarding podcasts but they were all around 5 years old so I thought maybe everyone can share their favorite podcasts.

I previously listened to audiobooks but was running out of books to listen to.

@spumoni99   I listen to podcasts at work.  I listen to to true crime podcasts. Some of my favorites are Strctly Stalking. It is very informative. Generation Why is very good. Truth and Justice.  They all have quite a few seasons.
What I found when I started listening is they advertise about other podcasts during the ones I listen too. Then I find more and more. Bob Ruff of Truth and Justice also had a podcast called True Crime Binge and he would interview other podcasters. Which helped me find more.

Enjoy listening!

@spumoni99  I just started listening to "40 Minutes in the Old Testament" when I walk. It only updates once a week, so in between times I like to listen to the birds.

ETA: I like "40 Minutes" because it's two people discussing a sometimes difficult to understand text like they are looking at current events. A new point of view.

Thats a good idea maybe I will be better about walking if I listen to podcasts.  I like to walk in the evening though so no birds at that time.

My favorite is Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend. He has many interesting guests and is a great interviewer, not to mention funny and smart.

Yes - there are several that are religion-related.  And, a couple that are focused on politics.

I assume they are audio or video segments on various subjects?  Are they usually a set amount of time?   I see them mentioned occasionally, but have never checked them out.

It's audio, I didn't know either.  My daughter mentions that she listens to podcasts so I finally asked her to show me.  On my apple Iphone I have an app called podcast installed, so far I am just choosing from what I have there. You can also listen on spotify I believe if you listen to the commercials on most its all free.  The times differ, I am listening one right now called "finding cleo". There is a series of about 40 minute segments.  Dr. Death was the same, it was really scary about an imcompetent doctor that crippled and maimed 33 patients.
