It's taken down Ring as well. I have been unable to access and found out the Ring is connected to Amazon. (I had no idea)

Well this is weird.  I can still go to the Amazon website using my bookmark for AmazonSmile.  On the Amazon site I can see all of my past purchases, including last night, and I can put an item in my cart.  There's nothing I need to buy right now, so I didn't actually buy anything, but Amazon seems to be working ok for me.  I wonder WHY?

Our news station said Amazon's website crashed and is down.  I didn't research it further.

I think he has stepped away from running Amazon as CEO.  ... and I think he is already bald, or mostly!  ;-)  

Anyway, I believe that I have placed an order on Amazon, but the usual email confirmation is delayed.  It is not showing up on my Order tab but appears on my Account tab.  Oh well.  Wait and see.

Just heard on the news that it also affected Southwest and Delta Airlines.  Good thing I got those airline tickets bought on Saturday.

I have some things I need to buy, but not gifts or things I need immediately although I had planned on buying today.

I tried to return an Amazon order at Whole Foods today, and they told me the site was down and they couldn't even scan it.  At checkout for my groceries, I usually enter my phone # to tie into my Amazon acct for sales prices.  That didn't work, either.  

will be near a different Whole Foods tomorrow.  Hope things are fixed so I can return the item there.
