Oh my....I Googled the 100 Diet. Wow. Limiting sugar/carbohydrate calories to 100 per day. And only 1 apple has 99 calories. Your brain & muscles work off of glucose...you need carbohydrate to survive....that's Human 101. Good luck, though.

Carbs, fats, and proteins are all broken down into glucose.

Congrats to violann! You've done really, really great. You should be proud of yourself!

I am definitely at my healthiest (and best weight) by eating a lot of vegetables, reasonable amounts of lean proteins, nuts, seeds, and some fruit. I eat no grains and no dairy. And of course no processed sugar or flour. The avoid vegetable oils and use primarily coconut oil and olive oil. I do eat a little 88% dark chocolate which is very low in sugar.

Amazing what eliminated grains and dairy did for my waistline, skin, and hair. I have been pretty fit for many years (some years more fit than others!) but this way of eating took me back to a body I had when I was 30.

If that's bragging, well then, IM A BRAGGIN'. I earned it.

Don't do it. It will just make you feel like kr-ap.

And it's bad for your skin.

As well as other parts of your body.

The calories in this diet are different than regular calories. You can have some types of fruit and vegetables. You take the amount of carbs and sugar in one serving and multiply it by 4. That gives you the sugar calories. It's a fairly easy diet and when he says you will lose 9 lbs the first week he goes on to say half of those will be from waste. You don't have to bother with fat or protein. Just the sugar and carbs. Today is my third day and I have lost anything.

I forgot to add, you don't take the calories from sugar and carbs but the grams. So you would add the grams of carbs and sugar and multiply by 4 and that would be the sugar calories. You can actually eat quite a lot.

I've probably been on 100 diets.

I've been on 100 diets in my lifetime, I never heard of THE 100 diet. But I know one thing, all it does is reduce calories, reduce fats and eliminate or drastically reduce simple carbs. Like every diet.
