When you copy and paste a link, always remember to hit the "enter" or "return" key after you have posted the link. Otherwise the link won't work by just clicking on it. You will know because it will stay black. Folks will either have to copy and paste the link into the web address, or actually type it out into the web address.

It's much more convenient for them to be able to just click on the link, if the above procedure has been followed. That will change the color of the link and add the underlining which makes it a workable link.

Hope this will be helpful to some of you.

Thanks Ford. I was trying to post one a few weeks ago and couldn't get it to work.

so after paste.... I hit the enter key? I have a problem with the links being a link you can click to open VS just copy.... I will try this next time. Hope it works! Thanks so much!

Yep, simple as that.

Ford, what brouser are you using? I use IE and all I have to do is copy and paste and the link comes out blue and clickable (if that's a word).

i primarily use firefox.

i copy the link i want, then paste it into the body of my response.

once it is there i highlight it, click on the link button that qvc provides above my post, then click on link URL, choose open link in new window in the next box, then paste the link again in the title box in the link button. then click insert.

I think it's different depending on which browser. You can always use the link icon next to the emoticons.

QVC and News often tells us to never click on any link.

I also use IE, but unless I hit the "Enter" key after pasting the link, I will not get the blue and clickable (good word as far as I'm concerned) link. It might depend on which version of IE one has.
