I post only valid links. I think some posters just change the name of the link to make it easier for others, I haven't run into any disasters yet clicking on that type of link.

Exactly! I want to see the full web addy, then I can decide if I want to click it or not. And most times, I do. But when it's 'click HERE' then nope.

In my long ago past on the internet I found that to be so... I clicked on a link and it took me to another web I didn't want to go see or read. Some have tricks on the link.

QVC tells us to never click on links? Far as I know, QVC in the Standards tell us to not post links that violate their other standards, like regarding viruses or corrupted code.

qvc has an attach link button right above the response box.

jmho But consider yourself lucky. Trusting links can get you to an infected website. One time doing that is one time too many I think.
