I'm betting they haven't a clue what they did that screwed it up and they clearly haven't got a clue how to fix it or they would have. How do they screw it up that badly in the first place, across multiple platforms and browsers, and not know what caused it.
Here's a thought - if laptops and tablets have "restore points", why can't IT do that? Just restore it to a previous point when all was working, rather than mess it up to a point of no return?

Maybe they do not know where the restore button is? Or where to do the restore? Sounds like the blind leading the blind to me.
