Any thoughts for the new year?

Not rushing time, just thinking about which puzzle I will do, (got some new puzzles) awhile back.  Once we tuck this years decorations away for another 11 mos.  I'll set up the card table and get to it.

I can watch the s,,, from the windows. LOL

You have any fun things coming up this year you want to do?

@qualitygal  So nice to hear from a fellow puzzler!  Couldn't imagine my life without them!  1000 piece ones are my favorite.  I just finished the snowman and have just started this new one.

I'll be masking up for a visit to the town hall on November 8th.

I'm moving on January 4th and then putting our house up for sale.  That's enough excitement for me.  It's overwhelming.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Overwhelming, @gidgetgh, but exciting, too.  I hope the move goes smoothly and your house sells quickly!

I really, really, really, really enjoy knitting and crocheting.

  • So - more of that is always on the agenda.  I have several yarn orders pending. I know the yarn I want - just have to figure out quantities, and I can't do that until I decide on what to make with it!

Two friends from church and I got together just before Thanksgiving.  We knew each other from our activities at church, but not on a personal level. It was great fun and found that out backgrounds had much in common.

  • We are talking about continuing that on a monthly basis after the holidays ... and inviting several other women to join us - friendship and fellowship.  We have the perfect restaurant to meet.

My husband has staggering towers of 1000-piece puzzles.  He always says he will redo one but he hardly ever does.  I am going to impose a buy one/donate three rule.  😏

Re: Any thoughts for the new year?

We added another leaf to our big farm table so I can do a puzzle on one end and still keep my Valerie Parr Hill centerpiece on it. I know the puzzle brand is Vermont Christmas Company and the title is "Christmas Cheer".

As far as the New Year, I think we'll be masked and told yet another booster is needed. My prayers are for good health for all.

Nothing new in the horizon, but hoping for a variant free new year!
