Sounds like you may of damaged the dye; could you sew in an applique?

Thanks for the contact info on Laurie Felt. The stain is dark. Just like it was when the resin dropped. I wanted to get it out before It hardened. Acetone removes it from my hands when I don’t wear gloves. I think you guys are right. I messed with it too much. Next time, dry cleaners! Yikes oh well.

@bmorechick, about a year ago I messed up my favorite denim blouse.  Just a suggestion, and no guarantees, but sometimes it's a no harm/no foul situation.  I put the blouse in the washer alone with a small amount of bleach and ran it through a full cycle.  Was almost good, so I repeated the process.  Managed to get the blouse to one color (lighter than it had been) but all one color.  Still wearing it, still loving it!    I know it stinks to ruin something we love.
