I’ve done enough damage in the last few weeks for my comfort — lol.

No shopping for me for a bit, other than presents for the two grandkids.

While I have no plans to shop QVC this week, I was in town on Saturday and shopped the Q outlets' annual BF sale. Scored a IML ceramic watch, a few clothing items at 60 and 70 percent off and two fabulous Dooneys at $89.00 each.

I got a head start last night.  Late in the afternoon yesterday, I got emails from several of the places I shop offering me a "head start".

I bought stuff from LandsEnd, Chico's and Amazon.   

I'm glad I got in early ... some of the LandsEnd things were gone when I looked this morning ... thinking about buying another one or two pieces.

Nothing yet but there really is no hurry.  There will be plenty of sales for the entire week, the entire month, for that matter.  There really is no reason to jump on anything today.  I do want a tv for our bedroom but I'll wait until hubby comes home before I order.  I have my eye on a few possibilities.  It might be Cyber Monday but the tv's were the exact same great price on Wed. when I first saw them.

I ordered a few things from Amazon this morning.  One was a pair of Clarks shoes that I've had my eye on for over a year.  They were about 40% off the regular price.  The other couple of items had not gone up in price from when I order them a month ago.

It certainly is an exciting time of the year.

For our family, I probably won't be doing any shopping.  I've delivered 'gift cards' to those that won't be visiting for Christmas.  Those folks coming for Christmas will receive $$ in their bank accounts.

We've asked for 'gift cards' from those posing the question of 'what do you want for Christmas'.

My DH and I have decided to purchase some replacement sofas for our gift to each other.

Gift giving will be very simple this year.  That suits us just 'swell'.

Yes, I realized that too with Amazon. Some of their prices did increase from when I last looked at some things over the weekend.

That is not right! Even if it is a dollar or two they are ripping people off and I will not buy today from them!

LOL ripping people off? If you can find it cheaper elsewhere, go buy it. Black Friday is it's own thing. To expect the same price, even on cyber Monday is unrealistic.

I read Walmart was also increasing prices.  I had my eye on a Pioneer Woman's Christmas large bowl, it had been on clearance for $10. I looked today and the price is now $13.something, still on clearance.
