Not sure what subject matter we can come up with but there must be something...  I have read a lot of good books... taken a lot of nature walks.   My husband and I enjoy sitting on our deck each night with a glass of wine and enjoying the neigbors that stop by.    Have been tending to my plants.    Enjoy talking on the phone to my kids and friends.    All in all we are happy and enjoying what we can.   Health and happiness to all...

@Junebug54 I'm ready to converse to your heart's content. After all, I lead the most exciting life. I'm currently listening to my husband's nightly choice of television viewing. He likes war movies and action adventure flicks. Right now he's watching the "Caine Mutiny." It's supposed to be an excellent movie but I'm paying no attention, I'm just trying not to hear the loud battle explosions. Usually the movies he picks have loud machine gun noise every night. Of course, the sound effects are much louder than the dialogue so I can't escape.

Earlier today, I sliced off a few chunks of medium cheddar from a block of Tillamook brand. It was so good I wound up eating most of it. I had my first Vitamix smoothie using banana in it. Strawberries, blueberries and vanilla soy milk too.

I opened two boxes I ordered and tried to understand the horrible directions for each. One is fertilizer and one is time release, systemic pesticide. I got tired just trying to figure out the doseage needed for each. This is going to be used to treat four plants which comprise a hedge of ficus, since the leaves have fallen off. I have to do this to placate my homeowners association. It started storming here like crazy so I couldn't do the application.

I went to the Avenue plus size clothing site to order a top I liked because it was 60% off there today. Stupidly, I ordered more clothes, crop pants, I don't need.

i fell asleep on the couch for a couple hours.

I went to The Forum and read some posts and I posted two funny images. I texted the images to my close friend and she texted back, "LOL."

My life is so interesting. I'm sure it would make a best seller. Who wouldn't want to see my gorgeous in-home lounge outfit consisting of an extremely oversized white tee that comes down to my knees and white stretchy shorts that are actually long boy short boxer underwear. Height of fashion. I've coordinated my outfit with my gray slip on Sketchers.

Oh @Mindy D I can relate.

My favorite lounging pants for warmer weater are Champion banded crop capris (best description I can come up with).  They are 100% cotton and - they don't make them anymore!

I feel anxiety because I know the 20 or so pairs I own will wear out someday.

I keep a bunch in use and the rest are stored in a zippered storage case.

A couple of years ago Hanes ran an incredible sale on 100% t-shirts, all different style, for $3.  I went a little hog wild.  But I know I'm good shirt wise for lounging around.

BREAKING NEWS

I found out that the word 'wound,' as used in; "I have a wound from a fall," is spelled the same way as 'wound,' as used in; "I wound up forgetting to add the sugar to the recipe." It's a revelation! 😁

@stuyvesant @So funny. I ordered mine from Woman Within and they were discontinuing them. They were really expensive for what they were but I was so freaked out that I couldn't get them anymore that I ordered a bunch more sets. I store my stash in one of my suitcases. The bad part is that they came in sets of two with one pair in white and one pair in nude beige and I only wear the white because I bleach all underwear. Sigh. I currently scan eBay for any left overs. Such trauma. I know I have PTDUD, Post Traumatic Discontinued Underwear Disorder.

Re: Any chance of having a conversation that doesn't involve Covid-19

I've now rediscovered warm water wash thanks to - you know.

They had me brainwashed that a cold water wash works just as well but it really doesn't.

I'll never forget the first time I did a warm water wash on my fave cold water wash sheets.  I dried on medium instead of low.

I stood there, all suited up, with gloves and - you know (mask), trying to stuff them into a plastic garbage bag and not touch anything.  They fit the bed perfectly.  No shrinkage, no wear and tear.

I still haven't done a hot water wash, it woulld take an epidemic for that, but I've gone home to warm water.

While there are many posts not mentioning it, the fact is that it is still here and not going to magically disappear so it does have an effect on all of our lives.

For me, my life has not changed that much.  I am retired and a homebody and enjoy staying home.  I had an active often hectic life and  after retiring found that I liked the life of just not going anywhere.  I workout a lot, read, watch movies, play with my dog and trick train her.  The only difference now is I have not been able to meet with friends at restaurants but actually have more contact with them by phone.  I never liked to waste my time going to stores so don't miss that!!

I've always said I'd make a good hermit.  I like being alone and at home.  Hubby is also a homebody (thankfully!).   When I first heard of the Stay-at-Home rules, I was actually glad to have an excuse to stay home and not have to wear makeup.  I loved it.  It's gotten a little tiresome, tho, because when I do need to go out for some reason (grocery, bank, etc) it's complicated.   Otherwise, I'm perfectly happy to be puttering around the house all day, every day.

(just wish I could get a haircut)
