About 20 percent containment on the fire today. Everything hinges on the winds.

Thank you all for your sweet wishes. I was so happy to be in a real bed last night. Moving slowly but on the mend.

54% containment last I heard.

It is as hot as hades here right now.

all shutters closed to keep sun out.

I pray for all the firefighters, it is miserable heat.

Was your GB surgery done laproscopically, @hennypenny. I healed very quickly from my surgery and felt so much better without the gallbladder -- no more nausea or vomiting.

Hi Tansy,

Yes, I am so thankful they were able to do it laprosopically. Drs. wouldn't guarantee ahead of time.

I am doing much better, thank you! Just a bit sore.

No spring chicken, so a bit slower than normal. I did water one of our little gardens before seven this morning, and filled all the bird baths. mr henny is having to do all the big property watering. I am not up to it, and the heat is nasty.
