Last year I replaced my front load Whirlpool duet (10 yrs old) with a top load Maytag Bravos XL

I love it!

I have the same issue with my Kenmore. I really notice it when I wash towels or jeans.

Sometimes I have to run them through another spin cycle before putting them in the dryer.

I didn't notice this when I first got it in 2006, mainly the last couple of years.

Thanks I ended up with LG 4.3 cb ft machine with 8 cycles..it is being delivered today..

You don't think how much you miss a washing machine until you go three days without one..it has only been three days lol!!

I went with top loader.

I read that Kenmore is made by LG.

It's probably the same one I bought a few months ago (does it have a window on top?) Anyway....I love it. It does an awesome job washing and wringing out the clothes so they don't have to be dried for as long.

If I have any complaint, the wash cycle is very long........and the drum is so deep that I need an old lady grabby thingy to get some things out from the bottom. But I knew that before I bought it. It does such a good job cleaning that I don't mind.
