I was born on February 29th and have always loved being a Leap Year baby. So many people don't understand that there's a real birthday only every four years. I am lucky and am in my teens with real birthdays. I celebrate all year when it's a Leap Year!
Happy Birthday to any other Leap Year babies.

Missed by 10 days. I know someone who who missed by a day early.
The only person I know with a leap year birthday hated it as a child. She always missed her special day and it was only included on a calendar every four years!

Just wondering - when did you celebrate your birthday in non Leap Years?

I always had my party or special day on the 26th, 27th, or 28th. I NEVER celebrated in March. People would say on nonLeap Years, "Then your bithday is March 1st." I said "No. "I was not born in March; I was born in February so I would choose a February day. I remember this from when I was little.
It really didn't matter. I just loved saying I didn't have to get older because I didn't have a birthday but every four years! It would blow people's minds; most don't even know why there are 29 days in February every four years. I just love being different.
