Sorry, Linda....Late that night DH saw a headline report on a FL news cast.  He called it out to me and I posted it.

There was never intent to lie / "punk" / mislead, etc.  How that headline made it onto the screen I will never know.

DH is not the type person either who would lie / punk / mislead.  

The TV made a mistake, DH repeated it to me and I made the mistake of posting it here.

End of story...sorry.

@jlkz  No, no...don't apologize or take it that way. I was just making a funny which landed like a lead balloon!  I know you're not punking us and I can understand if you didn't know he passed what news it must have been to you. He was a monumental talent and I feel like he was the last of the wonderful singers of that era. I miss him.

I sure loved him. He was just cool.  And seemed so nice. I loved the duets he did with different singers. Omg, I loved the ones with Amy Winehouse and lady Gaga.  I never appreciated the pipes and talent of Amy until after her death. And we'll, Lady Gaga what can't she do. I love her. But I really lipove the concerts with Tony Bennett,  I watch them every now and then
