hand protection (somewhat limited!)

A lady I know showed me her years-old collection of thin

“saran-wrap” type gloves, which she had kept from

old Clairol Hair Dye boxes!

They were thin, sheer, but I guess in a pinch she can use them

to protect her hands from grocery cart/door/uber handles.

Im not sure if those type of gloves can be purchased online...except from a Beauty Supply wharehouse or something?

Wow....hair Salons must have boxes of them!

@JumpTheRope   The also have those for food prep.  I bake a lot at Christmas time or for weddings and always use food prep gloves.  I like the stretch thicker ones though.  Amazon has them.

@JumpTheRope

I order those very thin disposable gloves in bulk from Costco, but Walmart has them for sale on its website.  (Same type that you mentioned getting in hair-dye packages)

Just key in "food service gloves" ...or "catering gloves"....on google and see them available from other sources, as well.  These are the oversized, easy-on/easy-off types that you can quickly  slip your hands into and can  see through.

I sometimes go through several pairs to handle raw meat and other items when preparing just one  dinner.

I'll also use one or two when wiping something down with a disinfectant or cleaner of some type.  Much easier than pulling on rubber gloves or fitting into stretchy ones.

Can't live without them.
