@Judaline @I don't buy there dark chocolate, I don't care for dark. I do buy other milk chocolate candy at Trader Joes though and who knows if it's safe . Any item could be unsafe so I guess I won't get crazy over it .

@Judaline Yes, I just posted about this issue in most chocolate.

Wow just saw this post ....this IS scary ! So it can be in any of the big brands , Hersey , Lindt etc. I'm glad I don't like dark chocolate. I know others that do , will have to clue them in.

You don't have to go crazy over it. But my Gdaughter had a high lead count a couple of months back. She's little so it wasn't from the chocolate. They got it taken care of thank heaven, but I'm always alert when I hear of things involving lead.

Netflix has a new documentary called "Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food".

Do not be so quick to judge outside food sources and do not rely solely on just the FDA. There are other agencies in charge of our food.

@Judaline Happy to hear your granddaughter is alright . I know lead is dangerous especially for young children . I Just know if I think of everything I eat as maybe being unsafe I wouldn't be able to eat. It's mostly veggies and fruit cause even though I wash them as throughly as possible still who knows.

@Cakers3 I just watched this on Sunday , So when I saw this topic I thought wow we are all vulnerable . I dont feel as safe knowing the FDA is on top of our food safety as maybe they should be.
