Re: Quit talking and discuss sizing , length etc

Just saw this show on the guide tonight.  Host did provide the inseams on the ponte pants  , but I didn't catch the lehgth of the knit dress . Alot of laughing and   DB had alot  of  excitment of being back in  studio  tonight ,

Wish they posted on air some of the  garment measurements as they did back in the day . They try to say  " order your usual QVC  "size but  this does not always work . Also watch dress lengths  as they vary

but...but...but...talking about the products would interfere with personal stories, childish antics, and chit-chat.

Just commented on this subject on another thread in here.  Unfortunately, less and less about the garment is discussed, especially when hosts are paired together.  Sure,  you could go online to get more details, but why should you have to?  It's the host's or hosts' job to give all the details.

These days I feel it's a waste of time to even watch the video. They don't describe any of the details, but most importantly, an accurate description of the fabric. Is it light heavy, how does it feel? All The hosts can say is, you've got to get it, it's gorgeous, you can wear it out to lunch with your friends, blah blah blah

So far all the "fashion forward Fall clothing" is no different from years past.  So tired of messed up jeans, crooked hemlines, cropped pants (in winter?!?!), lounge clothing, jeggings, leggings, ...looks like I might be shopping in my closet alot this year!!

Remember when they use to tote their measuring tape for clothing and rulers for jewelry?

Re: Quit talking and discuss sizing , length etc

@CalminHeart   and don't ever forget that it would also interfere with what prompts sales.   Years ago when I watched more, I remember Jeanne Bice telling the host to skip the numbers.  She insisted they were boring, but I suspect she also had knowledge of what pushed sales.  Like it or not, plenty of the Q's TV buyers tune in just for that personal touch.  I hear that frequently from callers, but not a day goes by that right here in the Forum someone doesn't ask about a host's personal life or comment on it.

Even during my first few years watching QVC before the Internet, I bought almost no clothes -  no matter who the host was.  Until I'm desperate, I'm highly unlikely to buy more from QVC no matter what the hosts talk about.

If they don't describe the item and suggest going to the website, why have the TV presentation at all?  I don't understand.  I've felt for quite awhile QVC and all the shopping channels should just become online retailers.  Why not???
