Anyone interested can google the Johnson City, NY Petco for which over 100 animals perished in the floods due to the animals were not removed from the store.
Of course there is a statement from the company which blames the City for not giving them the notification but one of my friends lives in the area and that statement from Petco is not true....I believe the news stated that the floods could be worse than 2006.
There is quite a number of e-mails circulating regarding this and the Boycott of Petco for them not being responsible to remove their live animals from potential flood waters.....just plain sad......as an animal lover this story makes me sick.
