Re: An unusual question I'm asking for deets

Well, I have learned two great things today, and I feel so cool and hip!

On another topic, I got the "deets" on "dabbling". Kids are really going to think I'm "with it" (yes, my age is showing with that saying!)

@dex

i laughed when i read this.  i did the same thing to my son.  he was dressed for the coldest winter and it was a very warm sept.

we took him for his first doctor's appt. and he said to me, very gently, you don't need to dress him like this.  dress him normally for the weather.

one of the many lessons i learned.

Re: An unusual question I'm asking for deets

@Evie2004

Maybe I didn't ask the question properly.

The reason I asked the question is because lately on my mind has been the subject of how one assesses their life in retrospect. I don't know why these few moments in my life keep popping into my head?

Am I getting OLD? Probably that is part of it -- 65 in March. Philosophical I am and always have been. But I don't dwell in the past as if I would rather be back there -- thank heavens!

Each person has an interesting life and a story to share. Sometimes I wish I had my parents back so I could listen to them describe their lives as children.

It would be great if my DGC or DD were interested, but they are just in a different phase of their lives.

Hopefully this made sense.
