This is the way some play here. How will they play on FB?
Shame.

I didn't see it, but posting personal information is against the Community Standards. The moderators are very quick to delete those posts. How do you know that somwone reported it?

The only good thing about Facebook is you can mute/block some users.

But I'm not interested in being there, but I am interested in Reddit, if someone wants to start a forum there.

Because it wasn't personal information. The moderators jump on a thread when some one reports, especially that particular thread which has probably never had a "poofing" in its existence. So yeah, I know. Won't miss it either.

Was on the QVC FACEBOOK page and didn't like it, stopped following a year ago. QVC will now be out of site, out of mind, will no longer buy from this company. Enjoyed this forum and all the good information I read from all of you.

As much as I love these and will miss many of you who are friends to me, I have no interest in facebook for these forums.

And since I hear about everything I buy from QVC this way, I will simply kiss it good bye. I think they will be shocked at how much is sold through this medium.

I agree with you...out of site, out of mind...won't be buying anymore.

Of all times for them to ditch the forums. Yeah, do it during the holidays, with an ongoing pandemic. How thoughtful!

This lack of customer consideration does NOT speak well of those making such a decision from the top.

I will not join Facebook. I detest it. So, it will be over for me here. When the forums close, I will also take down my shopping profile and will be done with it all. I will shop elsewhere and never look back at QVC.

It's been a pleasure to have met and shared information with so many wonderful folks here. Best to all of you.

I feel exactly the same...been with QVC since the beginning and read these forums since the beginning. Will also never look back. Will not support QVC on Facebook or buy anything from them again.

I think this is a huge mistake the Q's making.  If anything, I believe it will deter members from shopping here, thereby, the profits will go downhill even more.

For me, I enjoyed the one-stop shopping/forums on the same page.

I never joined FB & won't in the future.  I don't care for the way they make the news "in a bad way."

Yeah, I feel the same. I joined the Q's Facebook too. It's just endless scrolling of random posts that may or may not be of interest to me. I don't really have the free time or the attention span for all that.

I prefer the forum set up. If I'm interested in holiday decor, I can drop by the Holiday forum and see what's going on there, ask questions, seek advice or just enjoy the company of folks with the same interest.  Same with the Home, Kitchen, Pet Lovers or whatever subject takes my fancy that day.
Well anyway, it looks like the end of an era, perhaps a corporate trend. 23&me also just closed their forum recently. I really enjoyed that forum as well. Learned a lot, received some good help to questions I had. Same with this forum.
P.S. The irony of Facebook being down on the same day that the Q rolls out this announcement and refers us to their Facebook group did not escape me. 😏
