awww, man, that just su cks! I've been on the boards for 11 years now, I don't log in often but do read every day. Facebook right now is shut down, just tried and DH said it was on the news due to the hearings etc and the fight on "fake news" about this that and everything else. If the Q FB page is not private, I will not be joining. I keep my tribe on FB small and private.

So for this I bid you all farewell...

I am so disappointed to read this. I enjoy coming to the forums every day. I especially enjoy the Home and Pet forums but also many others.

I joined the QVC Facebook page when it was mentioned that the Forums might go away a while ago. I didn't like them. It's nothing like the forums and is pretty much just a QVC discussion. I am still a member but unfollowed the group and don't see the posts.

This is a real letdown.

As much as I love these and will miss many of you who are friends to me, I have no interest in facebook for these forums.

And since I hear about everything I buy from QVC this way, I will simply kiss it good bye. I think they will be shocked at how much is sold through this medium.

Well, this makes me very sad. I have posted here forever. Years longer and tons more posts than my nickname shows. I remember Shop Talk and there was an honest to goodness chat room in addition to the boards. I love posting here. These boards provide company for those who may need it. What a shame.

I belong to the "we love QVC" group on Facebook. Not a ton of activity on it. I also am in the QVC Addicts group which has no affiliation with QVC.

When they close these boards I'll be happy to "out" myself in the Facebook group. I have no problem with that.

Again, this news makes me really sad. We may squabble some in here, but it's overall a really positive experience and I enjoy posting with most everyone. Just another change and I hate change.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Yeah, I was just thinking about how if I didn't come to this board I would totally forget about QVC and probably not even buy because I really don't watch at all anymore. The kitchen/food stuff is mostly what interests me and I always forget to watch the shows. Coming to the board is the only thing that reminds me about making purchases.
