I don't see why they spend time on dumb acts
like the girl who hugs people and I'm disappointed in
Neil Patrick Harris for using the golden button to put
Piff the Magic Dragon through to NYC Radio Music shows.

He's funny and a good magician but that seemed like a
waste of a special chance for better performers to move
ahead imho.

I agree. Waste their time on some stupid acts. The magician should do a disappearing act. Can't believe he made it through.

I didn't understand using the golden button on that act either.  I didn't understand why the hugging lady made it through the first time.

We have a young lady ventriloquist down here who is very talented. She tried out for the show once, but they were not "warm" to such an act. Too bad for them.

I don't watch that show anymore because of number of really stupid acts that get on.  I think some acts make an impression on people because of their novelty, but after you watch them for a couple of minutes, then what?  Isn't the point of the show that the winner gets their own show in Vegas?  How many of these acts would you want to sit and watch a whole show of?

I very much agree; she had no talent IMO and such a waste of time for the others that do.

When Piff did his act the first time, we figured it would be either really good or really bad.  I actually like his act.

Another stupid act IMO was the guy with the interpreter; his attempt at starting a fire was just plain weird.

I was happy to see that the comedian went through.

I thought the hugging lady was a weird act too. But I like Piff the dragon magician. Now would I  have used the golden buzzer on him? No, but I think hes good and funny.
