Exactly.  It's an apples vs. oranges comparison.

I made my first Amazon purchase in 1996.

Not one single time have I gone to Amazon looking for the most obscure item ... and I found it ... and it was delivered in a couple of days.

One of my favorite Amazon products ... Kindle books.  Instant gratification.  I click buy the book and less than 30 seconds later, it's downloaded and I'm reading it!

I love the Kindle books. That feeling of in an instant I am reading a book, not even waiting for over night shipping. Even overnight shipping blew my mind.

Yes, I know that QVC is an apple, and Amazon is an orange.

The POINT that I was making was that Amazon notified me about an order that was lost, that I didn't even know was lost.

Secondly, Amazon had already refunded me my money without me doing a single thing.

My question is, when has QVC ever done that, regardless that QVC is an apple and Amazon is an orange?

That is the POINT that I am making here.

I understand ... that happened to me a couple of weeks ago.

They offered me a refund or to re-order.  I chose to re-order because I wanted what was lost.

Alot of items on Amazon that cost less then $25 are free shipping.  I just received my Lily of the Valley body spray...$16 and free shipping.  Last month I ordered a set of 3 new bands for my fitbit..$12 and free shipping.  I'm not a Prime member.  There's a reason Amazon is so temendously successful. Their customer service is outstanding.

A refund is good, but did they say why they didn't send another one.  I am a prime member.  I order something every once and a while. I've had a couple issues over the years, but they resolved them quickly.

I had ordered the last one.

The email that I posted in my opening post, is exactly what they told me.

I missed the part about ordering the last one.  Worked out well then.

I love Amazon, and I don't have Prime.  It's pretty amazing even without it.

Competitive pricing, fast shipping, and hands-down the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere.

@Katcat1  I'm not at all interested in paying $119 a year just to shop on Amazon or on any web site.  What a money making scheme that is!  No wonder Bezos is a billionare.  The last thing we need is a charge to shop on QVC.

There's no charge to shop on Amazon.  Prime is just an option.  I've been a very happy customer for years, and I've never had Prime or paid for anything other than the items I've ordered.
