I received an order from Amazon yesterday.  Not what I had ordered.  That is a first in all my years shopping with "A".  Return was so easy. Took less than 20 seconds at the UPS store.  Did not need the envelope the item came in.  Just put it back in its' plastic bag, drove 5 minutes to the UPS store, handed it to the clerk. She scanned the print out, took it and done. No charge for returns.  Refund was already in my account when we got home 30 minutes later. Love companies that make things easier not harder to return.

My husband did the same thing yesterday, by the time he go home from his other errands we got our refund. This is one of the many reasons I like Amazon. When we did our reno last year we ordered many things from them including a glass stall shower, which arrived broken, they got us in contact with the company that sold it and we got a replacement with out returning the broken one.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I agree, Amazon returns are so easy, by the time you get home from dropping off the package you get confirmation that a refund has been processed for the return,  I like that!

I'm around 8 miles from a UPS store and the store is off our busiest street. I am not a fan of returning orders. I think my only returns to Amazon was a couple orders of pairs of shoes that didn't fit. I do appreciate the quick refund.

Agree with you all re: Amazon returns...NO CHARGE, and refund happens, practically, as soon as I fill out the return form and before I even drop it off at UPS, which, like others have said, is only a few minutes up the road from where I live. SO easy! SO efficient.

As opposed to a return I had to do for QVC last week (those Prive' Reveaux set of two readers were a no go...bad cheap, couldn't keep clear lenses, and bad fit for me, cute as the colors were.) $7 will be deducted from my $15 1st easy pay installment, ugh.

Such a waste I try not to buy anything I'm not sure of on Q for this reason...but, it does happen. Never thought these wouldn't work out; I had other PR that were good, in the past. And, made my return over a week ago, usually returns/refunds don't even show or process in the QVC system for 2-3 weeks later. It is a deterrent to my "trying" certain items on Q, but owell....the complaints have been many over the years, don't think they plan on or maybe can afford to lose that income stream.

I make amazon returns at our local kohl's store.  It is very easy.  This is another reason I order often from them.

I totally agree!  Amazon is more than convenient and their return/refund policy is excellent!  Many options are available too for returns, such as Kohl's, UPS, Whole Foods, etc.

I also like the fact that there are so many more item/product choices to pick from when looking for something, than you would have in any local or online stores or shopping channels.  I recently bought a new pair of Skechers on Amazon at a Great Price.  I wasn't sure if I needed a size 8 or an 8 1/2, so ordered both and returned the one that didn't fit at Kohls, which is 5 minutes away from my house.  Refund was done by the time I got home.

I'm not usually one who returns things but received a broken picture frame once from them. I arranged for a pickup and reorder. I received the new one the next day, in advance of them even picking up the broken one. Can't get better than that!

Re: Amazon return so easy

[ Edited ]

Amazon gives options for package drop-offs other than the UPS stores, our local Kohl's did away with Amazon returns, another option given by Amazon was to drop off at a local CVS in the area, luckily for us there are (2) UPS stores within a 3 mile radius from our house.
