I must say though, that there are numerous Amazon warehouses within 5 to 30 miles of my house.  When driving through our area, you can see Amazon buildings every couple of miles right from the highways.

i know lots of people who are Amazon employees.

I sometimes have to wait longer if the seller is a third party who sells on Amazon.  They are located all over, even from other countries.

I just looked it up, there are 96 warehouses/distribution Centers in my area.  Wow!  That's more than I thought.

@Carmie Wow!  That's a lot of distribution centers!! I have a feeling some of them overlap where I live.

How do you find out where distribution centers are?

@Kachina624

I had something similar happen to me. I ordered two items on Saturday, with a scheduled delivery for Sunday.  I received one of my items, but the face moisturizer was pushed out till Monday. Monday came, and it was pushed out to Tuesday,  then Wednesday. Finally, last night (Thursday), I cancelled the item and requested my refund, which I have received.

I have never had that happen with Amazon during all the years I have shopped with them.

I forgot to add that I am a Prime Member.

If you need something that fast then maybe you should be going to a brick and mortar to buy it and not depend on a delivery service.

@CelticCrafterAs I said, it's not seriously important and I can wait.

@icezeus.  Until this week, I had never seen the  "unable to load page" warning before either.

Speaking of Amazon...

I just had a package delivered by Amazon. DH thought it was a package for him because he ordered a few items from Amazon for himself.

The funny and unusual bits was that the package was mine...a few items I ordered from QVC!

1st, there were 3 items in one box...ALL from different orders and categories...electronics, decor & fashion.

I can't remember the last time that happened in the 21 years I have been ordering from QVC!

They were shipped out of the Ontario, California warehouse. Hence, it looks like the holdups and changes that were being made are starting to surface into some improvements.

Still, the real odd bit (to me) is that the package was delivered by Amazon. That was a 1st...

Speaking for myself. My delayed delivery order was not an emergency, but Amazon kept pushing the delivery date out, which is very unusual.

I've actually seen the "Unable to load page" message. It was either last year or the year before. It's not common, that's for sure.

I just looked it up on Google.  They are scattered in the Harrisburg, Middletown and especially the Carlisle area.

There is an Amazon Warehouse in Miami  not too far from me. If the package comes from them I get my delivery pretty quickly.
