In the Northeast, I get same day Amazon deliveries, as well as overnight deliveries.  An airport 15 minutes away, built a large Amazon terminal about a year ago.

As @sunshine45 mentioned, if something isn't needed so soon, credits can be saved for future purchases, like kindle books.

It's 5pm and I still haven't gotten my overnight delivery order I placed Tuesday.

I have NEVER had a problem with Amazon deliveries. I ordered 3 items on Wednesday and received 2 on Thursday, and the third was delivered today.

I've noticed most of my delayed deliveries are from third party sellers. I also avoid them whenever possible.

I also have no problems with Amazon deliveries.  Same day or 2 days is my time frame.  When we don't need the item ordered quickly we push it out to get the extra points.  i should also say in our area we have 2 or 3 warehouses within an hour or less.

I just got delayed with my latest Amazon delivery. I do not have Prime.

My stuff is here in town and was supposed to deliver today, but they can't deliver it until Monday for some reason. If I could go pick it up for them, I would. Hint, hint, Amazon.

I think the delivery people are backed up. It's that time of the year...

@deeva   I have found that many third parties are not listed as prime deliveries

no matter what I want, I never order third party.  I did once a long time ago. Never again. I rarely get next days, next day. But I get two day delivery next day many times, lol.  I notice when I order for grand in LA, she gets many things same day. Even in a few hours.  She gets everything faster. Must have more drivers and a super hub there

@shoekitty We live near a big hub so most comes quickly.  Sometimes today things do get bumped until tomorrow.  Not too often though!  I am trying to get them all in one or two days a week, sometimes Amazon has other ideas.

Re: Amazon Struggling

[ Edited ]

Amazon also has a business that ships products not purchased from Amazon.

To find this go to    shipping dot amazon dot com

When I order products from Dr Gundry's website they sometimes ship via that shipping company which is very good.  It gives one a complete accounting of where your item is and when it will be delivered.

Dr Gundry uses a variety of shipping companies which I find confusing and some are not good.

In previous conversations with them I have mentioned how great the amazon shipping company is with the hope they would only use that one when I place an order but apparently it doesn't work that way I have found out.

@Kachina624  unrelated...did you ever recv your item?  Hopefully, yes.
