I use it all the time.  Routine things, like a special shampoo my daughter uses, a couple of pair of the Oprah tech gloves for gifts, steno books, novels and non-fiction books as gifts, cookbooks for me, so much I can't remember.

I saved all my points for a couple of years, bought my daughter a nice Canon camera for Christmas and saved $400 by using my points, plus another $479 off the sale price, online Black Friday.

For us it's worth the $8.80 a month though I have a hard time finding the free monthly books.

What do you mean by this?  Do you mean you can't find the one Kindle First books or all the free books or you have a hard time finding one you like?

Hi MIMA, I took have been having a problem finding the Kindle Free once a month to borrow books but I figured I would take another run at it after the holidays.  Any assistance you can lend would be greatly appreciated.

I love Amazon Prime and for me it's worth it between the free s&h and their Prime Music plus it is great to have heavy things delivered to your door . . . Smiley Happy

Hi @NoelSeven, are those points from using their VISA card?

It all depends on your usage. I usually order regularly from Amazon Prime as the free shipping is great and we do watch movies and shows. I get one day shipping now on most items. Yesterday morning I ordered a gift at 6:00 am and got it delivered same day by Laser Ship at 5:00 pm!!! I couldn't believe it! I find their prices are great. I got a 30% off shoes and clothing for Black Friday and bought some gifts. Delivery was in 1-2 days.

I love Amazon Prime. Not only do you save on shipping, you can get it in 2days .I personally have saved a ton on the free shipping. Oh and you can get books really cheap or borrow some for free. My trial is over and will definitely renew.

I LUV Amazon Prime. I use it just for shipping. I use the two day shipping option. I do not use free promotion(s) for longer ship times. I had a CD lost in the mail.

Amazon uses their own sub delivery service in my area. The delivery van has a Amazon logo on it.

Hi mtc!  @momtochloe

Yes!  I use it all the time, so does DH. Our Amazon purchases go directly on to it.  It's very safe, also, imo.  They called me once, said someone had ordered a $600 item that did not seem like anything I normally ordered.  I confirmed it wasn't us, they took it off immediately (they had flagged it) and sent me a card with a new number overnight.  I didn't have to do anything.

I just FINALLY updated from my old not-so-reliable-anymore cell phone to an iPhone.  Put that on the card, which will add a lot of new points.

I've also had their rewards card for some time now and it's very handy for putting all my Amazon purchases on (love the 3% back), as well as various other charges.  I pay it off every month so I've never paid interest.
