We have a free trial coming to an end. Is it worth it? We don't need it to watch TV shows, as we already have Netflix. Do you save a lot, or is it mostly helpful for the shipping? TIA! Smiley Happy

We save a lot on shipping.  We've watched a few of their programs, but haven't seen anything really good yet.  IMO for the free shipping it's worth it.

That really depends on YOU- and your usage- yes, the best part (imo) is the shipping-- their interface on streaming tv needs work- very hard to find what you want to watch- no guide- you have to click through and I've contacted them many times- they always say they're working on it- but it's the same as when I signed up years ago.

We have saved many times over what it cost us to be prime members. Quick delivery/great prices/free shipping and no sales tax. Guess it depends on how much you purchase there. For my wife/our feline-canine family, and myself? It's a no brainer.

For me it has helped on shipping. Plus I had to replace a years old Vornado heater this week and it was half the price of other online sites. I recieved it in two days as I do with all Prime products.

It depends on how much you order from Amazon. If you order 1-2 a month, definitely worth it.

I had to use Amazon's website to find Prime movies.  And I had to really dig in.  I found alot of old black & white mysteries that I have never seen before on Turner Classic Movies.  Great find.  But most of the new movies are also on Netflix and Hulu.  My year thing was a "one day sale".  I dont think I will get it again.

For us it has been more than worth it!  When I need something, I go to Amazon ( I have not found anything not Prime), order and get it in 2 days with even  Sunday delivery.  Just last week I needed more dog treats, a pie taker, measuring cups for crisco, peanut butter, etc when mine cracked, another surge protector for setting up my tree, a new out door timer.  Didn't  have to leave my house and go to several stores to get these and waste time and gas.  All 2 day free shipping!!

I do have a Prime membership and I use it to get free two-day shipping on items that are marked PRIME.   I think mine just renewed for about $106 a year (tax was added).

I had signed up for a free trial, not for the shipping advantages because I don't order much from them.

I did it for the movies and music as my husband is a big movie watcher and listens to a lot of music.  He wasn't impressed at all with the selections so I cancelled it a few days later.
