@AnnMarie-1 It's what you can find at Whole Foods. Remember, Amazon purchased it about a year ago. That's what it's based on. But you have a wide selection of food. It's not one brand of something. It's similar to what you see at a large supermarket. Amazon thinks food delivery is in the future for all. I & my husband still work. I could only do grocery shopping on weekends. Now I just order the food online.

If it were available in my area (it isn't now), I would do it in a heartbeat!
I hate having to drive to the store, try to find a parking spot, fight the crowds, and once home lug all of the bags inside.
Have the groceries brought to me?
Where do I sign up?

@KailaS wrote:Thank you for posting this. I am getting ready for another surgery in a few weeks and I am totally alone. I will be unable to drive for quite some time. I checked out Amazon Fresh just the other day and it looked as if it would work for me. Yes, I understand those who say they want to do their own shopping. However, for someone who is ill, this seems like a viable option. But I did not know anyone who had used it.
We have been using it for a few weeks now. I was thrilled when they emailed me that it is now free. As long as you spend $50 there is no delivery charge. You also leave a tip on the order but the delivery guys are really great and deserve one.
The quality of the food is great and I use it to fill in things especially when we are having people over and entertaining.
Good luck with your surgery @KailaS

@Anonymous032819 All of the food is delivered to your door. At the time and day you selected. You pay online with your credit card. Including the tip (if you want to tip them) So far, nothing has happened to our food. It's everything I ordered and it's in sealed containers and bags. If you want to find out about it, go to Amazon and click on Fresh.

I just checked it out just before posting up thread, and I am definetly interested in using the service, except it is not available in my area.

@Anonymous032819 t will eventually come in to your area. This whole service just started this past year. Amazon wants it to be a national service. Other places like Walmart has started theirs.
You should check out the food and their prices. Just make sure you are in the Fresh area. They are espanding on their food selection now.
