chicken sandwich is back. Showed them on GMA this morning lined up 3 deep at a restaurant already. They're good, but, it will be replaced eventually by another craze I'll have to wait till then.

@Krimpette @It’s a marketing game.Make something in short supply and everyone wants it.I don’t think there is anything special about it.far as I know it’s just chicken and a pickle.

My DD manages a Popeyes and she said yesterday was just crazy!

When she arrived at 7:30 AM, before they even open, the line was outrageous and people were even slipping orders (CC#'s included!) under the closed doors!

When I asked her if they were THAT good, she said, "Mom, it's just a chicken sandwich, nothing special about it!"

They didn't run out of them, but by 3PM, they ran out of enough thawed buns/chicken and had to post a sign that they wouldn't be available again until 7PM.

I think it's just all of the viral/media hype.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Their fried chicken is really good so I would imagine the sandwich would be as well. Missed it the first time around but will wait out the crowds for a couple of weeks. Hopefully they are well stocked with new vendors for the chicken breasts.

What's funny, yesterday was 'National Sandwich Day'

and Chick-fil-A was promoting the numerical day without

Its just a marketing ploy...and thats ALL. Nothing special. Just trying to drum up business from the other chicken businesses.

I'll pass. I had one in the summer when everyone was raving about them. It was ok but I was not impressed. It's not something I would go out of my way to order.
