I'm sure there are those who want to watch the California event, the armored vehicles,  people running,  along with close ups of the SUV etc. However, isn't that what news channels are for, the voyeurs?

Enough, I wanted to see Jeopardy not a bunch of men searching a neighborhood, not inane interviews with overpaid speculators.

Re: All Network Channels, Why?

It's been going on here since the minute they knew it happened. They keep bringing on this female police conference, they ask her the sam questions, and she keeps saying she has no answers yet. So why do non stop coverage if you have no answers, plus none of the stations are reporting the same details.

Awww.  I'm so sorry the "California event" and "voyeurs" ruined your evening.

They do it because they know potential viewers will change the channel.  There's always streaming content.

The more publicity these people get...the more kooks  will want to go out the same way.

Nobody is forcing anyone to watch coverage of this national story.  Those who want to pretend it's not happening are free to do so imo.

Thank you for the bolded statement.  All these years I have deluded myself into thinking news channels were to inform and educate me.

Re: All Network Channels, Why?

I wouldn't say it ruined my evening but I can say I've seen enough. I do want to know when the last guy is caught and everyone is safe but, after a while, it's too much. I think that's why cable was invented. JK

Something I thought was interesting was that one TV reporter said he thinks one of the attackers was a woman. I have no idea if he's right but he said something about seeing the shape of the body that fell from the van and it looked female. He also said it looked like the person was wearing a red bra. I'm not making this up folks and I haven't been drinking. It was reported on KABC.
