Re: All Day Christmas Again?

I like it!  Because it's Fall so it's time for me to think about my holiday decor.  I don't pay any attention at all to the CIJ shows so I am just now thinking about Chrstmas.

Re: All Day Christmas Again?

I'm not much for holidays, so it's not for me.  But so what!  Why don't people understand that if the products sell, they will sell them.   A lot of people enjoy this programming and, clearly, it's profitable.

There is a ton of stuff on tv that I don't want to watch so guess what?  I just flat don't watch.    Since the world doesn't revolve around me, I watch what I like and prefer to live and let live instead of saying that shows should go away just because I don't want to watch them.  I guess I just don't understand this sort of thing beyond that.

It's pretty much going to be this way through mid-December. Best just make one's mind up to it and do what I do... Watch minimally if at all... Just sayin'...

When I watched QVC on a regular basis this was my favorite time of year to watch. I loved all of the Christmas programming. Heck I may even turn it on right now!

Re: All Day Christmas Again?

I think the shipping has much to do with another holiday show.

I'm wondering how much they can guarantee delivery by Christmas later on-so maybe it's a way to make sure items arrive at least in time for some decorating and gift purchases.

I have enough holiday things but I did look; usually the same things offered but as somebody else said it's a nice break.

It is no wonder people are sick of Christmas when it gets here & take it all down & packed away the day after.

I don't like all the beauty shows & ugly Logo so I watch very little anymore.

@CLHS68   People don't have to watch these shows, as you know.

Some people take things down the day after because they don't like the clutter.

Some take it down because they didn't want it up in the first place but feel obligated to follow traditions.

Some like stores and early displays.  Some don't.

We go through this every year and it is never going to change.

I do think the push is stronger this year because COVID-19 seems to have caused some shipping issues so getting items sold earlier gets sales out the door in a better time.

Wait until the returns start after Christmas-this board will probably catch on fire.   LOL
