Being a jerk doesn't constitute innocence. The guy is a great actor but a jerk , nobody disputes that.
There were so many laws broken and complaints on that set and let's not forget a woman and mother died. Baldwin was the last to hold that gun and pull the trigger, which he later denied. Lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned.
Actors are just people. To them it's their job. There's a reason the indictment came down and they're keeping this case open. We don't know what they know but we will find out!!

I heard there are two charges; one is involuntary manslaughter and the other is neglect. I also heard the report that the FBI broke the actual gun he was using when they were testing it I honestly don't think Baldin intended to kill anyone and had no malice whatsoever, but his continued "I didn't pull the trigger" isn't helping him. Hr needs to "man up", even though its not easy. He took a life, and I can't imagine how hard that must be to live with. I still feel so bad for the victim's family.

He was careless. That is what involuntary manslaughter means. He killed someone because carelessness on his part. No one is saying he intentionally killed the woman. He should have been properly trained in handling firearms. I don't care if it was a prop person's job to check the gun. Some things you do not leave for other people to check.

I don't believe anybody here can really accurately state he is innocent or guilty. Let the evidence come out and then we can form an "opinion".
I will say, we know Alec lied, video contradicts his statements. Bad decision to lie. Never lie as it will come back to haunt you.
As for some saying something about an "affair" or something like that and having nothing to do with manslaughter. I watch the ID channel, I apologize in advance , there are many murders when "affairs" are involved. Although I know NOTHING about it in this situation, just saying.

My understanding is that he was charged because his behavior fit the requirements of the state's law. I saw no exemption for actors under the state's law.
Am curious if it's industry practice to rehearse on a set with an actual firearm if the armorer is not physically present.

The indictment charged Mr. Baldwin with two different counts of involuntary manslaughter, but he can only be convicted of one.
The more serious one, a felony, accuses him of “total disregard or indifference for the safety of others,” while the other accuses him of the negligent use of a firearm.

Complete waste of time in my opinion, and this case will go nowhere. I think he is being prosecuted because he is a "Jerk" and they are trying to make an example of him for some reason. Sorry, it was not his job, and I too do not understand why there are real bullets on the set.

The jury that had all the evidence decided to indict him....they saw it all we didn't....
I personally believe it was the right decision from just the info we did have.
What I do know for a fact is that Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured. This is what's truely sad and "unjust"in this situation.

Some posters are getting ahead of themselves.
This was a Grand Jury indictment, not a trial. There hasn't been a trial.
Mr. Baldwin hasn't been convicted of anything (yet.)
