Re: Alec Baldwin Case Repercussions

Baldwin was found not guilty, so he should let this go. I guess he thinks he needs more money, to support all his children. I hope this lawsuit gets thrown out.  No good reason to sue the whole department except for money and revenge.

I don't know if Gloria Allred has ever lost a case. If so, it hasn't been reported.

The newest lawsuit filed back in Feb. of 23 I believe is Halyna's parents and sister as the Petitioners.

Alec should thank his lucky stars that he didn't get prosecuted.  He should count his blessings and go home and impregnate his wife for the eighth time and forget about lawsuits.

@Mz iMac - She does seem to specialize in that.    Personally, I'm tired of the whole thing.

It's not as if anything will bring her back.  Let the poor woman RIP.

ETA:  Her parents and sister are suing?  Was she supporting them?  It just seems greed rears its ugly head every time money's involved.

If she was union, she also had a good life insurance policy as part of her benefits package.

Allred is also an opportunist and loves to be in front of the cameras; she usually represents women or girls who are victims of domestic or other types of abuse. She is probably taking on this case because it will be in the media. I hope she wins. She hates men and I would love to see Baldwin have to lose a lot more money since he was let off completely free. She will go for the jugular.

@teganslaw, just a point of clarification. Baldwin was not found not guilty. The charges against him were dismissed by the judge, but he was never found not guilty.

That is exactly what I was going to post!  Baldwin got his case dismissed because of a mistake on the prosecution's part.   Now he should thank his lord or lucky stars and quietly slink off.

@teganslaw  As others above mentioned,   Alec was not found not guilty. The charges against him were dismissed with prejudice, meaning they can't be filed again, but he did not have a trial where a jury (or judge if a bench trial) found hin not guilty. Charges were dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct. There was no verdict of guilt or innocence. His brother Billy was wrong when he said Alec was exonerated.
