• Air conditioner has been on and off for at least a month. Must be more off than on though because our current electric bill was just $79. It's unseasonably cool here in Northeast Texas. Right now it's 51° with a predicted low of 49.  North windows are wide open. The highs all week are predicted to be in the 70s

We go from 80 degrees to 40 degrees each day. So far, I haven't needed the air conditioner but I have used my ceiling fans a few times. 

April was expensive.

I had to replace my furnace and air conditioner.

The water heater went out the next week. It was 25 years old so not worth repairing.

Three days later, I was going to the pharmacy and my dog was in the car. He is leashed to a headrest so can't jump on me. But something spooked him and his front paws hard-landed on my right arm and I drove into a cement curb. I blew out a tire and the alignment. 

A friend called me a couple days ago to see if everything was working. LOL

I hated to, but yesterday I broke down and put on the A/C on the second floor.  It reached 84 yesterday (NJ) and humid.  First floor was OK with fans.  

Now it is 71 and rainy.  Same forecast for the coming week.

The weather here has been all over the place since March. We had days of close to 90 degrees once Spring got here. Then we had cold nights and frost. This weekend we have had a lot of rain all day and this morning.  I liked it when Spring was Spring and Summer was Summer!
