Adjustable Bed - Side sleeper

Hi Everyone Smiley Happy

I am thinking about getting an adjustable bed but I am a side sleeper and a few people told me that would probably be uncomfortable for me.

Anyone here use an adjustable bed and do you like it?  Also if you can tell me what brand/model you have I would appreciate it.

Thanks so much!

Re: Adjustable Bed - Side sleeper

I've had an adjustable bed for some time now, a split king.  So husband can adjust his side and I can adjust mine.  I can't sleep in one position throughout the night.  I start on my back and then switch from side to side.  It's much more comfortable than a regular mattress.  Lots of options as to a mattress and the base.

Re: Adjustable Bed - Side sleeper

We have a split king Sleep Number adjustable bed also I’m a side sleeper
I have back issues I can’t stay in one position all night
My husband has always said I’m difficult to sleep with because I do toss and turn all night
With this bed I don’t disturb him with my tossing we both like the head elevated and we like being able to elevate the foot if needed
We also like being able to adjust the firmness of the mattress to suit how we feel on a particular night
I’m not sure we could go Back to a regular mattress either

Re: Adjustable Bed - Side sleeper

We have a sleep number and I tolerate it but am not in love with it. We started with a split king but after a battle with the company they traded it for a regular king. I do love the firmness adjustment for each side, it is a marrige saver! DH has acid reflux and the head elevation is terrific for that. Both our motorhomes have had sleep numbers, love the adjustability to the firmness. Being able to set the mattress position is a great option in our home bedroom but he did not want it in the camper.

I am a side sleeper too. I was thinking of an adjustable bed. I’m thinking the elevation would help with the pressure points. Let me know if you get one, and what you think. When I have a chance, I’m going to go look at a few different models.

I wish they made a split queen but then again we would need to change bed frames and I love our frame it has 4 storage drawers which hold a lot of stuff

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

We have a stearns and foster mattress on an adjustable base. We love to read in bed so have the head raised for that then we lower the head so it is just slightly elevated and have the feet just slightly elevated to take pressure off our backs. We both sleep well on our sides or backs with that setting,The adjustments are easily made by you for you . We love ours after three years.

@WeiRDgeRL    an adjustable bed gives most sleepers a lot more options in sleep positions guess it depends on each individual
