I send a sheet or two of labels to a friend & she also sends some of hers to me & we use them to send each other holiday & birthday cards & such, so we don't have to write the address on the envelope. When I send her birthday gift to her, I always enclose a sheet of my labels in the box! It gets them out of my house!

I love the variety of address labels that Colorful Images has. I order from them fairly frequently.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

use them in other ways if you want......i use mine in some books, dvds, cds, or anything else that may need a label on the inside so that you know it is yours. i recently saw my mom use some inside of her suitcases, attached to index cards.

great ideas!!!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

i also always get address labels in the mail and i have a stack of them. i won't ever have to buy any because i rarely have to use them. we can take care of alot online.

I shred them instead of throwing them away because we take our shredded paper to the recycling center and recycle it instead of just throwing it in the trash. We shred most of our paper that's clean. No used napkins or anything along those lines.

I didn't think gummed labels could be recycled? Some recycling sites I've seen don't accept gummed labels. Maybe shredding it makes the difference?

I won't live that long in 5 life times. I don't give to their charities or businesses but I still get them. Since I mail my bills I put them on the back flap too.

My sister does this too. It's a great idea!

I read that the way to get rid of extra address labels is to burn them.

I, too, have more than I'll ever need from charities that continue to send them. Their new approach is to send coins in the mail. I simply toss them, along with a few more, into the convenience-store containers when I fill up the gas tank.

I keep the labels I like, and shred the rest.

I just keep them and use them. I have more than I'll probably need since I rarely pay bills by U.S. Mail, but I still don't throw them away.

I keep some in my bag so when I have to fill out any forms, there it is. Also my handwriting is horrible.
